The founder of the company is its CEO, David L. Christopherson, PhD, CLU. He earned both his MBA and doctoral degrees from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Christopherson first served in the financial services industry for almost 16 years, holding officer-level positions in a wide variety of life-insurance-related disciplines. From 1990 through 2005, Professor Christopherson taught in the areas of finance, risk-management, and insurance at Minnesota’s St. Cloud State University. Experienced both personally as an executor of various estates, and professionally as a researcher in many “end-of-life” issues, Christopherson is the recipient of numerous teaching and research awards. In 2002, he was recognized as a G.R. Herberger Distinguished Professor of Business.
