MiddleDeskDrawer®


	PORTABILITY
	At some point you may want to move your MiddleDeskDrawer® program and your two drawers of information to a different computer – perhaps one you may buy years from now. Although your program is designed to run on only one computer at a time, moving it and your drawers is a simple operation. The program should run on the new Windows Vista operating system and future systems developed by Microsoft. To “uninstall” the program from your current personal computer, and then “install your MiddleDeskDrawer® on a different one, simply open your program, pull down the “File” menu in the upper-left hand corner of your open program, click on “Move to a New Computer,” and follow the three easy steps detailed on the boxes which appear. NOTE: Your MiddleDeskDrawer® is designed to be moved without your having to use its CD.

MiddleDeskDrawer® System Requirements:

The CD version of MiddleDeskDrawer® that is currently available will NOT INSTALL on computers using Apple/Macintosh operating systems.

Required operating system : Windows Vista, Windows 2000 Service Pack 3; Windows 98; Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, Windows Server 2003, or Windows XP Service Pack 2.

Required computer and processor : 500 megahertz (MHz) processor or higher; 256 megabyte (MB) RAM or higher; and CD-ROM drive.

Hard disk : Minimum 300 megabytes (MB) necessary for installation.

Internet connection : Dial-up connection, 56 kilobits per second (Kbps) or greater, for activation .

Installation Steps:

From your CD, simply click on the button labeled "Install Software Program."

NOTE : you must activate your software by “unlocking” it with your “desk-key” code in order to use the program. Activation requires that you:

have an open internet connection, and
that you be running Microsoft Explorer 5.01 or newer.

You won’t be able to unlock the program if your internet connection is not open or if your “desk-key” code:

is not valid, (e.g. you entered it incorrectly. If so, try again.) - or
has been used previously on another computer.

NOTE : your MiddleDeskDrawer® program and your two drawers are designed to run on only one computer at a time. Should you wish to transfer the program and your drawers to a different computer (perhaps one you buy in the future), refer to the PORTABILITY section on the left panel of this web page.

Once activation has been completed, simply start your new program by double clicking on the new MiddleDeskDrawer® installed on your desktop, or select the program from your START menu.

NOTE: After installed and unlocked on your personal computer, your MiddleDeskDrawer® program is designed to run without its CD in your disk drive.
